Terms of Service

KnowYourGeo provides GeoGuessr-style Street View practice, map guessing, written guides, and optional AI coaching. Features may change, pause, or shut down as we iterate. Core training is currently free; paid Pro features may launch later under separate pricing.

You must be able to form a binding contract in your region and meet any minimum age required for Google account / Maps use where applicable. You are responsible for keeping login credentials secure.

Provide accurate information when you register. You may not impersonate others, abuse rate limits, scrape the service, or attempt to bypass security or usage caps on AI coaching.

Map and Street View content is provided by Google and subject to Google Maps Platform Terms and related policies. Do not misuse imagery, attempt bulk download, or use the product for anything Google’s terms forbid.

AI analysis is assistive and can be wrong. Treat suggestions as training hints, not ground truth. You remain responsible for how you use coaching output. We may limit or throttle AI usage to control cost and abuse.

You retain rights to content you submit (for example profile usernames). You grant us a limited license to process that content solely to operate and improve the service.

The KnowYourGeo name, UI, guides, and software (excluding third-party map imagery) are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, resell, or redistribute the product except as allowed by these terms or applicable law.

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability. Training for GeoGuessr does not guarantee ranking improvements on any third-party game.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or gameplay outcomes arising from use of the service.

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms, abuse, or risk to the platform. Provisions that should survive (disclaimer, liability, IP) continue after termination.

These terms are governed by the laws applicable in the operator’s jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country apply.
